Info session «Export opportunities: How Ukrainian businesses can scale up in new international markets in 2026»

On February 19, 2026, the first Info Session dedicated to the REBIRTH OF UKRAINE Trade Mission to Finland and Estonia will take place. The trade mission is scheduled for May 6-9 in Helsinki and May 10-12 in Tallinn. Economy of Trust Ukraine, as one of the main organizers of the trade mission together with its strategic partners, the Mayors’ Club, ALLE FOOD UA and the UMEDA Development Agency, has decided to hold this info session to introduce Ukrainian municipality leaders, business representatives, agencies, industry associations, and public sector officials to the concept of the trade mission, its objectives and its key focus areas.

The main focus of the event will be on developing mutually beneficial trade relations between Ukraine and Finland, as well as Ukraine and Estonia. Today, in addition to military and humanitarian support, deepening cooperation in export and import activities is one of the most effective instruments through which international partners can contribute to Ukraine’s sustainable economic recovery.

This info session is a unique opportunity for Ukrainian businesses to:

  • learn how to enter the Finnish and Estonian markets;
  • assess their export and import potential;
  • understand how to effectively cooperate with municipalities to expand trade opportunities and attract foreign partners;
  • gain practical insight into the expectations and needs of the Scandinavian markets.

Info session program:

  • Yuliya Chufistova, Member of the Presidium of the Mayors Club and Director of the UMEDA Development Agency, will provide a concise yet comprehensive overview of the upcoming trade mission to Finland and Estonia, including its goals, format and expected outcomes.
  • Olena Kaijen, Director of ALLE FOOD UA, will outline Ukraine’s key export opportunities and analyze their relevance for the Finnish and Estonian markets.
  • Representatives of the Finnish and Estonian sides will share information about the current needs of their markets, demand for Ukrainian products, and the practical challenges of trade cooperation with Ukraine.
